Most technology problems are small – as long as you’re willing to look at them in the right way
Richard Stanford has been solving complex business problems with technology for over 20 years. He currently serves as the CTO of Kimbia, an Austin-based technology company providing powerful and flexible online fundraising and event management tools, empowering community foundations and nonprofit organizations to instantly create their best ideas at the exact time and point of inspiration. He has patents granted and pending in the field of secure financial transaction processing.
Richard has provided consulting services to a variety of Fortune 500 companies including General Motors, Publix Super Markets, Staples, Whole Foods, Safeway and CVS. He’s started three companies, written low-level software for ISPs, led complex infrastructure migration projects, and developed systems that process tens of millions of dollars a day. He’s experienced presenting to boards and C-level executives, and specializes in removing the technology restrictions from good business ideas.
Richard lives in Austin, TX. When not solving problems for customers, he can often be found reading, learning, and playing; he’s also an Ironman triathlete.
